First: For spam, you can cast a flag instead, there is a specific flag for 'spam - Exists only to promote a product or service'. For downvotes, the user being downvoted gets -2 reps, the person voting down gets -1. If the answer / post is then deleted, all reputation is given back. The reasoning behind the person voting down losing a point is somewhat given ...

I don't see anything in the mod tools that would allow us to track this down. It is strange that the only post and answer the user has got a gold badge in a single day. I would hedge on the side of your argument that the user has a professional blog that is linking to it or happened to tweet it or something and got a ton of unique views. This would have to ...

I think you may be misunderstanding the content of the screenshot. We don't show you who handled the flags you raised. The "answered 22 hours ago by Sandip Pal" text is the information about when the answer you flagged as not an answer was written and by whom. This contrasts with questions which read "asked [time period] ago by [username]" there are some ...

I can't seem to reproduce this error: Try with different browsers, and also check the browsers javascript console for any errors to narrow down the issue

I think Bountied is correct word. As the tabs are showing question, so it will be like Bountied Questions (on which bounties are offered) and not Bounties Questions.

Looks like this is old news now, but the spike was my fault. I increased the reputation limit for late answers to be enqueued from 10 to 50, which added a bunch of old answers that hadn't been reviewed yet. Sorry for the trouble.

The number indicates how many review tasks the site has, which could be a good thing. Unfortunately the counter doesn't take into account that you already have reviewed the closed review queue, since it requires five close votes to put a question on hold. From a UX perspective this is a very bad behaviour, but none have solved the issue yet. If you want to, ...

When answering what crawlers do and doesn't do, one is out on thin ice. But you have a point that the start page doesn't show up in the 154 results of your search string on Bing.com. Facts are that the robots.txt file disallow all crawling from Yahoo! With the comment saying # # Yahoo bot is evil. # User-agent: Slurp Disallow: / Now, we know that Bing and ...

I've seen this before, and it may be that you're on an IP that is blocked from adding pictures (due to others posting SPAM images on the same IP-range). Can you try this from your home (if at work) or from work (if at home)?

(using an answer to be able to post a screen) Currently using win 7 + ie 11 RTM. I don't see the aforementioned bug. Are you using win8? Also, any idea why the update version is different?? Maybe you upgraded from the pre-release version? Or it is me using an old version (a good reason to NOT upgrade, then)?

I can see that you have three suggested (and accepted) tag wiki excerpt edits made, but no tag wikis. Does your score still say 0? Probably it's because the excerpt isn't counted. If I look at this tag, the excerpt is filled out, but the tag wiki isn't.

I think the same rainbows appear on the SharePoint SE, just with a different background color. Additionally, the colors have been there on SE's side for a long time. Therefore this change is likely just for unifying the layouts of the SP.SE sites.

You can search within code block only if you type code:"search argument" when the search argument is surrounded by spaces or :. But your specific case has the entire class written out which means that you need to search for code:"Microsoft.Workflow.Client.ActivityNotFoundException:" which receives the result your interested in. Lose the code and you'll get ...

I see this all the time. There is no other queue that I know of. What I think (and have come to peace with) is that the number is cached and that the cache sometimes is not reset when items are reviewed in the queue. Interesting that it starts when you hit 10'! Maybee it is one of the queues that has this problem, or that a different cache mechanism is ...

I do see there is a greater number of First Posts than other categories also for me, but I also see a few suggested edits every now and then. My guess is that most users editing posts here has high enough reps to not need to be reviewed , the total number of review tasks is substantially lower in Suggested Edits than First Posts There are 16 "First Posts" ...

You can't, but no worries. We rather handle one flag to much, than one to few :)
